White Lily Golf Day
11th May 2009 - Hilton Park
Monday 11th May was a gloriously sunny day for our 7th White Lily Golf Day at Hilton Park. Once again the competition was fierce and with near perfect golf conditions there were no excuses.At the refreshment stall at the 9th teams were being very secretive about their scores. They didn’t want to let slip how they had played but were desperate to know who had the best score so far. We weren’t giving anything away and with all the Committee Members being non golfers we weren’t much use at that kind of information. Thank goodness for Bill & Dorothy - they once again superbly organised a fantastic day.
The beautiful trophies were partly sponsored by Ian McDermott of Soccer World and the winning team was Gilmour & DeanOur grateful thanks go to Gordon Simpson, the General Manager at Hilton Park. Gordon together with his very friendly staff helped to make it a truly enjoyable day. The superb buffet, provided by the very talented resident chef Frank Gilsennan, once again made an excellent finale to the day.
