White Lily Fashion Show
30th November 2008 - Crowne Plaza

Joyce Young of By Storm put on a spectacular fashion show at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Sunday 30 November 2008. Her Tartan Collection was a big hit, together with her new Bridal Collection. Joining the full-time models, were breast cancer survivors Freda, Susan, Margaret & Una who looked every bit as glamorous as their professional counterparts. The male models from MacGregor & MacDuff added charm and swirl to the music and clapping from the sidelines Ciaron Devlin and his fellow Irish Dancers jigged from end to end of the catwalk with real style, to the delight of the mainly female audience. Pam from Lollipop Childrenswear in Duntocher dressed our child models in up to the minute fashion.

The model’s flamboyant hairstyles were created by the exhuberant Jim Whitson of Trilogy of Bearsden.

Once again the foyer of the hotel was decked out by exhibitors displaying gifts and products, all with a Festive theme.

The entire event was sponsored by Simpson & Marwick, Solicitors, to whom we are truly grateful. Dr Pamela Abernethy of Simpson & Marwick has supported the charity for a number of years and we would now like to wish her a long and happy retirement.
