Ladies 10K
11th May 2009 - Hilton Park
The ground at Bellahouston was sodden after days of torrential rain, with puddles everywhere. But the spirit of all the Ladies running for The White Lily certainly weren’t dampened.Dorothy Woodger, with her charm and inevitable persuasion, rounded up support from near and far, with many of the Ladies making it an annual event. It was nice to see the next generation in prams being cared for by ‘Daddy’s’ whilst the ‘Mummy’s’ took part.
‘Open House’ at The Woodgers in June made it possible for Angela to thank not only Bill & Dorothy for all their support but also all those who took part.
Carol, nee Mills and now Conetta, also took part in the 10K with a group of friends. What a busy year it has been for Carol as she got married to Angelo on the 27th September. Well done girls and best wishes to the Bride and Groom for a long and happy future together.
